Meet the Artist
I have always adored baby monkeys. Volunteering at our local monkey sanctuary deepened that love even more, and I knew I wanted a way to bring that joy into my everyday life. Since welcoming a real baby monkey into my home wasn’t possible, I searched for a realistic collectible I could cherish. Nothing I found felt true to life — they lacked the sweetness, cuddliness, and breed authenticity I was looking for. That search inspired me to create my own.
I live on a small farm in rural California, where I raise goats for their luxurious mohair. With an endless supply of this beautiful fiber, I began using it as the “fur” for my baby monkeys. Each piece is lovingly sculpted, poured in platinum-cure silicone, and hand-painted with layered details to capture the gentle spirit of real macaques and other breeds. New creations now feature hand-painted glass eyes, which give them a soulful, lifelike expression.
I’m always exploring ways to make each monkey even more special by adding features like sound boxes and even the ability to drink and “pee.” While these babies take time, care, and premium materials to bring to life, they are created with devotion and joy. They aren’t toys, but with love and proper care, they can be treasured companions for years to come.
